About the position

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day office and client services activities across multiple locations. This role involves strategic partnership with various departments to ensure efficient operations, manage facilities projects, and support human resources functions. The manager will implement national operational strategies and coordinate efforts to integrate services for clients, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day Office and Client Services activities for defined business lines in local and/or multiple offices.
  • Act as a business partner for efficient and strategic operations through continuous review and improvement of processes.
  • Handle day-to-day issues as they arise and set achievable goals linked to organizational objectives.
  • Manage team and activities related to office services operations including vendor relationship management and special events.
  • Oversee facilities projects including maintenance work, relocations, and new construction projects.
  • Manage employment activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Direct operational activities for client services teams, motivating and addressing performance deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure effective service delivery and business promotion.
  • Support accounting and finance activities including payables, revenue transactions, and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with Real Estate and Business licensing processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required; combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience including 4 years of management experience.
  • Experience managing office operations in a customer-focused service firm with a multi-location structure is preferred.
  • Knowledge of real estate terminology is preferred.

  • Experience in facility management or project management.
