About the position

As a Pricing Operations Manager at Fiserv, you will play a pivotal role in the Network Issuer Client Management team, which is responsible for delivering essential operational support for three leading debit network brands in the U.S. Payments industry: Accel, STAR, and MoneyPass. This position is crucial for ensuring that our clients and partners receive the best possible experience through effective contract administration and pricing management. You will lead a team dedicated to operational excellence, focusing on the administration of issuer client contracts and pricing for the networks owned and operated by Fiserv. In this role, you will manage the entire life cycle of contract administration for the network issuer client base, which includes new contracts, renewals, and terminations. You will coordinate and communicate pricing updates with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned. Your responsibilities will also include performing routine validations across our systems to confirm that contracts are being administered accurately, overseeing billing tasks that require manual intervention, and maintaining the Issuer Client Master Contract Table, which tracks special pricing and variances. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting research in response to questions and issues that arise, providing data and analysis to guide your team toward effective resolutions. You will participate in discovery meetings to support existing and new products, collaborating closely with the Pricing Strategy and Product Management teams to optimize revenue for our product offerings. Documenting business processes and procedures will also be a key part of your role, ensuring that best practices are established and followed throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life cycle of contract administration for the network issuer client base, including new contracts, renewals, and terminations.

  • Oversee billing tasks requiring manual intervention, including rebate/incentive calculations and processing.
  • Maintain the Issuer Client Master Contract Table, including special pricing and variance/waivers tracking.
  • Conduct research in response to questions and issues, providing data and analysis for resolution.
  • Participate in discovery meetings for existing and new products.
  • Collaborate with Pricing Strategy and Product Management teams to optimize revenue for product offerings.
  • Document business processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience in an applicable field.
  • Proven experience writing, editing, and ensuring accurate distribution of information.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
  • Proven problem solver with excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to look for the next question that needs to be answered.
  • Thorough and deadline-driven project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Process-oriented with the aptitude to define processes/procedures and establish metrics to track operational activities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, especially strong Excel skills.
