About the position

The Business Operations Manager at AWS Professional Services will work closely with leadership to enhance delivery health, analyze historical results, and provide strategic business recommendations. This role involves developing and managing business processes, systems, and reports to optimize operations in a rapidly growing environment. The manager will serve as a trusted advisor, balancing strategic and operational tasks to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage opportunity pipeline by coordinating monthly reviews with sales and Professional Services teams.
  • Develop and implement mechanisms for continuous improvement in business operations, including process automation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure effective communication of methodologies and policies.
  • Lead P&L and cost analysis efforts to improve financial performance across the ProServe Team.
  • Provide strategic guidance to business leaders, implementing best practices in business operations.
  • Deliver data-driven insights on KPIs and manage dashboards and reports for executive reviews.
  • Oversee the execution of the annual planning process, including bookings, revenue, and headcount planning.
  • Establish business rhythm and cadence, leading meetings to ensure deliverables and actions are met.
  • Assist in authoring narratives and providing data insights for Quarterly Business Reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate results into actionable insights.

  • 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company
  • Proven ability to identify challenges and recommend solutions across teams
  • Strong writing skills for clear and concise business memos.
