About the position

The Business Operations Manager for TV & Radio at Entravision is responsible for overseeing the business operations of the company's local television and radio stations in San Diego and El Centro. This role encompasses managing accounting functions, payroll, HR responsibilities, FCC compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and audits, ensuring efficient and compliant operations within the broadcast industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business operations including accounting functions such as full cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Oversee payroll and HR functions including employee onboarding and timesheet management.
  • Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and standards.
  • Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and audits to maintain financial integrity.
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting or comparable experience, preferably in the broadcast industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of SOX and US GAAP is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-haves

  • Spanish language skills preferred.
