About the position

The Business Operations Manager (BOM) at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) plays a crucial role in the Administrative Service Center (ASC) model, focusing on providing quality, timely, and efficient services to stakeholders. This position is responsible for strategic budget management, academic support, and data management within the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences (CEBS). The BOM collaborates with leadership to develop policies, manage class schedules, and oversee budget planning, while also supervising a team of specialists to ensure effective operations within the college.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level support to leadership in the college, including policy development and administration.
• Create, maintain, and modify the master class schedule, ensuring compliance with scheduling policies.
• Analyze historical scheduling data and make recommendations on enrollment management decisions.
• Coordinate the preparation and administration of annual operating budgets and forecasts.
• Supervise full-time professional staff in the CEBS Administrative Service Center, including hiring and training.
• Act as the primary data manager for the CEBS Personnel Directory and ensure data accuracy.
• Provide high-level administrative support for the Dean and Associate Dean.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; additional experience may substitute for degree requirement.
• Experience in strategic budget management and academic support.

Nice-to-haves
