About the position

The Business Operations Manager at Astrion plays a crucial role in supporting the C3I and Infrastructure Division at Hanscom AFB, MA. This position involves strategic and tactical program planning, program integration, and process improvement to enhance business operations within the Department of Defense (DoD). The manager will be responsible for monitoring progress on various initiatives, ensuring effective communication, and providing quality documentation to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assimilate information quickly and communicate effectively to monitor progress on various taskings and initiatives.
• Provide strategic and tactical program planning using knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles.
• Develop, track, and update integrated roadmaps and schedules for a large, multi-program portfolio.
• Utilize process improvement expertise to inform business operations and internal resource utilization.
• Draft documents for approval and signature of leadership, ensuring quality acquisition and program documentation.
• Track and inform portfolio expenditures and support financial requirements documents and processes.
• Coordinate, document, monitor, and support a variety of meetings and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 10 years of experience in a technical discipline, with at least 3 years supporting DoD efforts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must have an active Top Secret security clearance.
