About the position

Good Sam Enterprises is seeking a Business Operations Manager to join the Credit Card & Payments team, focusing on supporting RV Sales, Service, and Retail field sales of Good Sam products and services. This role is pivotal in building and delivering consultative tools and support that enhance field performance in acquisition and utilization. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, possess strong business acumen, and demonstrate exceptional communication skills, along with experience in supporting field sales or retail operations. The individual must be proactive and willing to engage directly to provide best-in-class internal support. Reporting to the Director of Credit Card & Payments, the Business Operations Manager will act as the primary point of contact between Good Sam and the field team, ensuring alignment on activities, results, and best practices. In this role, the manager will define, implement, and manage various initiatives. This includes developing resources, action plans, and definitive best practices for new and underperforming markets or locations. The manager will collaborate with internal and external partners to plan and prioritize field initiatives effectively. Additionally, the role involves managing the field incentive strategy to leverage bank funding to drive performance. The manager will also be responsible for building and managing Good Sam field reporting, providing ongoing read-outs to field teams, and delivering stakeholder analysis and summaries of field-supporting initiatives and projects. Identifying data-driven opportunities and proposing actionable strategies to increase the acquisition and utilization of Good Sam products and services will be key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Point-of-Contact between Good Sam and the field team related to activity, results, and best practices.
  • Develop resources, action plans, definitive best practices, and ongoing strategies for new and underperforming markets/locations.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to plan and prioritize field initiatives.
  • Manage field incentive strategy to leverage bank-funding to drive field performance.
  • Build and manage Good Sam field reporting and provide ongoing read-outs to be leveraged by field teams.
  • Deliver stakeholder analysis and summaries of field supporting initiatives and projects.
  • Identify data-driven opportunities and propose actionable strategies to increase acquisition and utilization of Good Sam products and services.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of consultant or sales experience within a larger retail organization.
  • Experience within a cross-functional role managing internal and external partners.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to efficiently implement cross-functional concepts.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong communicator across a broad level of functional areas.
