About the position

The Business Operations Manager at The Office BOSS is responsible for overseeing various aspects of accounting, customer service, and retail management within the Truckee Services facility. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations, managing customer accounts, and providing excellent service in shipping and retail sales. The position requires a multifaceted skill set, including accounting knowledge, customer interaction, and inventory control, while working closely with the management team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (AR/AP) accounting and account management.
  • Work closely with the eCommerce Office Product team to manage and fulfill daily office product orders.
  • Provide customer care and support for shipping services and retail sales.
  • Assist with retail store management, including inventory control and purchasing.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to build account sales.

Requirements

  • Experience in accounting and customer service management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Strong communication and customer support skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with shipping services software (Postalmate) is a plus.
  • Leadership and self-starter characteristics.
