About the position

As the Business Operations Manager at Cisco Systems, you will serve as the Chief of Staff for the VP/CTO of the Security Business Group. Your primary responsibility will be to manage programs across the Security CTO organization, driving the vision-to-execution lifecycle for the Security Business Unit through strategic planning and program management. You will play a crucial role in promoting operational excellence by developing and implementing policies, processes, and methodologies that align with the organization's goals. This position requires collaboration with diverse teams to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives, while also preparing and presenting business results to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Manage programs across the Security CTO organization.
  • Drive the vision-to-execution lifecycle for the Security Business Unit.
  • Develop and implement policies, processes, and methodologies to foster operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with team members to set and achieve strategic goals.
  • Prepare and present results for Quarterly Business Outlooks (QBOs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs).
  • Identify and work closely with key partners to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Lead bi-weekly Executive Leadership meetings and organization-wide All Hands meetings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Lead and support cross-functional initiatives and facilitate collaboration.
  • Prepare executive-level and customer-facing presentations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in an operations role with a demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence.
  • 8+ years of experience managing budgets within a technical environment.
  • Experience leading and supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
