The Manager of Business Operations Role, in support of the Systems Transformation team directs a small to medium cross-functional team covering system migration support, maintenance, enhancements, automation, configuration, and robotics for the Enterprise Delivery & Operations organization. The foundational elements of the role include coordination with key internal business and IT/SP&T partners, defining and managing system business priorities and requirements, in efforts to drive system usability. Key activities to maintain success include consistent intake and analysis methods, partnership across internal teams for successful documents and training, and supporting architecture changes as required.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for establishing a consistent intake and prioritization process for all enhancements and defects across the Enterprise Delivery & Operations organization
  • Partner with SP&T teams to prioritize and deliver solutions
  • Create an environment focused on performance excellence
  • Facilitate collaborative environment including foundational feature development
  • Foster culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness by utilizing best practices and processes to improve competencies and develop people
  • Manage a high-performing team that utilizes best practices and standardizes frameworks to maximize efficiencies
  • Drive effective requirement gathering, feature creation, and development management practices for results-focused rigor
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in telecommunications
  • 7+ years of managerial experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle competing priorities
  • Ability to empower the team to bring solutions instead of problems and challenge the status quo
  • Results oriented with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Ability to communicate at various leadership levels, when required
