The Business Operations Manager role at Insight Global is a pivotal position that involves overseeing the operations of a large department with a workforce of 100 or more staff members. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth functioning of the department, which includes a variety of responsibilities such as financial management, budgeting, contract management, human resource planning, inventory management, purchasing, and workflow and process management. The Manager will also be tasked with managing department-wide projects that may have implications for other departments or directorates, thereby playing a crucial role in strategic decision-making for project identification and selection. In collaboration with the department director, the Business Operations Manager will ensure that effective processes and tools are in place to maintain the daily operations of the assigned patient care department. This includes a strong focus on data collection and analysis to ensure the long-term sustainability of the department's functions. The Business Operations Manager will also collaborate with leadership and staff to improve operations and enhance the quality of patient care. This includes developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external requirements, coordinating internal systems for correct coding and charge capture, and analyzing trends in volume, revenue, cost, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Manager will manage day-to-day operations, including budget preparation and space needs, establish relationships with partners, oversee contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance.
