About the position

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to support the business operations of the Program Management Office (PMO). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for utilizing and setting up SharePoint on the customer network to maintain all aspects of business operations. This includes managing the Staffing Roster submittal, CDRL submittal and tracker, award fee data, standard operating procedures (SOPs), travel logs, and more. You will collaborate closely with the Program Manager (PM) and Program Technical Team Managers (TTMs) to format risk registers and capture essential data. Additionally, you will consolidate monthly Kudos, weekly reports, and technical accomplishment reports for the PMO, ensuring that leadership has access to tracking metrics and quantifiable inputs for the Integrated Workforce (IW) Continuous Process Evaluation and Assessment (CPEA). Your role will also involve transferring all low-side Business Operations communications to the customer network and socializing these communications with the team. You will help standardize the approach to PMO communications and change management plans across multiple locations. Regular attendance at employee site visits and team meetings is expected, as well as participation in weekly operations meetings with the PMO, where you will maintain an Action Tracker and meeting notes for submission to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Mission Managers. Furthermore, you will assist with providing resource management across the portfolio, organizing all staffing data and key points such as security processing dates and onboarding metrics. Your contributions will be vital in developing business operations efficiencies and process improvements, as well as creating SOPs and knowledge articles to standardize processes for Program leadership. You will also participate in resource management and staffing efforts across the portfolio, supporting the identification and creation of a staffing data visualization tool that highlights impactful staffing data in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities

  • Support the business operations of the PMO.
  • Utilize and set up SharePoint on the customer network to maintain business operations.
  • Manage Staffing Roster submittal, CDRL submittal and tracker, award fee data, SOPs, and travel logs.
  • Work with the PM and Program TTMs on risk register formatting and data capture.
  • Consolidate monthly Kudos, weekly reports, and technical accomplishment reports for the PMO.
  • Track metrics and quantifiable input for IW CPEA with leadership.
  • Transfer low-side Business Operations communication to the customer network and socialize with the team.
  • Standardize PMO communications and change management plans across multiple locations.
  • Attend employee site visits and team meetings monthly.
  • Attend weekly operations meetings with the PMO and maintain an Action Tracker and meeting notes for submission to the COR/Mission managers.
  • Communicate with Mission Managers/COR/TCORs as needed.
  • Assist with MH Resource Management across the portfolio, organizing staffing data and key points.
  • Assist the PMO in developing business operations efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Develop SOPs and knowledge articles to standardize processes across the portfolio.
  • Participate in resource management/staffing efforts across the portfolio.
  • Support the identification and creation of a staffing data visualization tool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • 10+ years of related professional experience.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
