About the position

The Business Operations Manager at Canon Business Process Services, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the operations of Office Assistants and Business Support Specialists in a fast-paced environment. This role involves ensuring efficiency and quality of service, managing project completion, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. The position requires strong leadership skills and a focus on process improvement, making it essential for candidates to have a background in business services management.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for on-site supervision of Office Assistants and Business Support Specialists.
  • Monitors operations for efficiency and quality of service.
  • Oversee all operations involved in the successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Prepare presentations and present to CBPS & Client.
  • Evaluates and resolves high priority and moderately complex problems through communication and negotiation with clients, vendors, and internal professionals.
  • Oversee onboarding of all new hires.
  • Monitors operating unit activities to ensure compliance with CBPS.
  • Manage status reports, productivity reports, and other source documents to ensure optimal performance by staff.
  • Monitors financial performance including billing and receivable procedures.
  • Liaison with all CBPS staff functions on activities relating to own operating units.
  • Maintains working relationship with representatives including identifying needs analysis, handling criticism & informing of progress.
  • Attend high level meetings with C-Level Executives.
  • Conduct staff meetings to ensure communication of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Manage staff by developing and mentoring; handle corrective actions as necessary; evaluating performance; providing training and development opportunities; coach and counsel staff.
  • Interface with client, operations team, and corporate departments as necessary.
  • Completes CBPS staff payroll.
  • Enhance goodwill between Client and Canon.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in Office Services/Business Services Management.
  • Track record of successfully managing a team of 10+ people in a Project Management environment.
  • Track record of process improvement and change management.
  • In-depth knowledge of current industry standards in business services & records management.
  • Ability to manage complex projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
