About the position

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for optimizing and overseeing business processes to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness within a Healthcare/Medicare company. This strategic role requires a results-oriented leader with a strong background in business operations and management, focusing on serving individuals navigating the Medicare landscape. The ideal candidate will implement process improvements, manage cross-functional teams, and drive organizational success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve business operations, enhance productivity, and meet organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, optimize sales technology including CRM, monitor sales performance, and maintain a solid understanding of the lead generation funnel.
  • Oversee call center operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and efficient handling of customer calls.
  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within current processes, and lead initiatives to streamline operations and boost performance.
  • Manage and support a team of operational staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Oversee the budgeting process and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and financial constraints.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Sales, and Customer Service to align operational strategies and support business objectives.
  • Ensure operational activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies, managing risks effectively.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance, project updates, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business operations management, preferably in the health or financial services industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and business operations software.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in Medicare.
  • 2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Expert knowledge in CRM or Salesforce.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the health and financial sectors is advantageous.
