About the position

The Business Operations Manager will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that all aspects of company operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role focuses on aligning activities, reducing inefficiencies, and optimizing resource allocation, including time, materials, and personnel. The manager will recommend process improvements, develop strategies for scaling business operations, and conduct research to identify cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, they will oversee accounting processes and ensure smooth communication between the executive team and operational staff. The ideal candidate will have experience with oilfield rentals, accounts payable/accounts receivable (AP/AR), and Human Resources. This role is integral to ensuring smooth operations within our company, reducing inefficiencies, and supporting business growth. The Business Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring that the company operates efficiently while adapting to the ever-changing demands of the oilfield services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor business results, production KPIs, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Manage and track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
  • Act as the bridge between the executive team and staff, ensuring the company's vision is clearly communicated and feedback is appropriately conveyed.
  • Oversee inventory, transportation, budgeting, and hiring processes to ensure employees have the resources needed to excel in their roles.
  • Recommend and implement policy and procedure improvements to streamline operations and enhance business scalability.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing diverse teams and ensuring team alignment with company goals.
