About the position

The Business Operations Project Manager - GB is responsible for overseeing financial and data analysis related to strategic expense reduction and resource utilization at the Great Bend Campus. This role involves collaboration with business unit leaders and stakeholders to manage projects focused on expense management, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, and supporting budgetary productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of cost issues related to internal and external resources.
  • Supports budgeted productivity standards and ensures cost-effective resource use.
  • Acts as a role model for implementing cost-containment strategies.
  • Partners effectively in assigned projects, communicating process design, outcomes, and barriers to success.
  • Responsible for tracking Great Bend expense benchmarking data.
  • Familiarizes with current project management methodologies and collaborates with benchmarking stakeholders.
  • Performs QA activities regarding expense benchmarking data.
  • Coordinates necessary resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of daily coordination functions.
  • Collaborates with the Great Bend Administrator and Leadership Team for process improvement activities.
  • Interacts collaboratively with health team members to meet inventory/data needs.
  • Coordinates process designs on assigned projects, including clinical and fiscal stewardship.
  • Partners with the Supply Chain team to facilitate process improvement projects.
  • Oversees the Physician Quarterly wRVU process, including meetings with providers and report distribution.
  • Acts as a primary resource for physicians on payroll, compensation, and related questions.
  • Oversees the APP bonus process, including data tracking and bonus statement preparation.
  • Tracks APP CME utilization and establishes processes for physician tracking.
  • Performs financial and statistical analysis as requested by the Great Bend Administrator.
  • Participates in the budgeting process and assists Great Bend leaders with budget-related questions.
  • Participates in Great Bend FTE analysis and reviews financials with leaders.
  • Liaisons with the reimbursement team for cost report information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration/Management, or Health Care Management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Business, or Health Care Management.
  • 5 or more years of health care experience.
