About the position

The Business Operations Project Manager at F5 Networks will play a crucial role within the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer, focusing on driving clarity, visibility, and alignment on high-priority projects and processes for the Worldwide Marketing organization. This position involves managing critical projects related to strategy planning, communications, team enablement, and AI adoption, while maintaining a commitment to continuous improvement and efficient processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for collaboration, ensuring successful execution of the Marketing's annual strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Drive clarity, visibility, and alignment on high-priority projects and processes for the Worldwide Marketing organization.
  • Lead the annual strategic planning process for the Marketing organization, linking business planning, budget planning, and tactical implementation planning.
  • Support the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer in developing, communicating, and executing strategic and operational accountabilities.
  • Design and lead effective senior leadership-level meetings to communicate status and coordinate actionable efforts.
  • Create visibility, clarity, and alignment across Marketing leadership, ensuring teams are accountable on strategic and operational priorities.
  • Design, build, and maintain project plans including scope, objectives, schedule, budget, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with peers and team members across the organization to solve problems and develop new processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years experience managing projects at technology-based companies with strong cross-functional experience.
  • Minimum 3 years working with functional budgets, P&Ls, and investment requests.
  • Proven experience managing/tracking multiple projects in a highly engaged employee environment.
  • Proven experience creating and delivering professional presentations to a wide variety of audiences including senior executives.
  • BA or Bachelor of Science degree required.
  • Knowledge or certification in F5 products/solutions is a plus.
  • Lean/Six Sigma green belt and/or project management certification is helpful.
