About the position

Weverse America, a subsidiary of HYBE, is seeking a dedicated Business Operations Project Manager to lead and coordinate business operations projects that relate to artist success on the Weverse platform. This role is crucial in conducting the full range of project duties from inception to fulfillment, ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project plans that include timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, driving cross-functional teams towards achieving project goals and objectives, and analyzing data to monitor project progress while identifying and managing potential risks. In this position, the Business Operations Project Manager will establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes. The role also involves evaluating project outcomes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and records. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and business operations, preferably within the entertainment or music industry, and will be fluent in Korean to facilitate communication with stakeholders. This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and is based in Santa Monica, CA. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, capable of leading projects either independently or as part of a team, and who has excellent written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Drive cross-functional teams towards project goals and objectives
  • Analyze data to monitor project progress, identify, and manage potential risks
  • Ensure projects are aligned with overall business objectives
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and records

Requirements

  • Ability to speak and write in Korean fluently
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related fields
  • 7-10 years in relevant Project Management/Business Operations, preferably in the entertainment or music industry
  • Ability to analyze and convert large volumes of data into a digestible narrative
  • Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Self-starter, ability to lead projects either with a team or independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
