About the position

The Business Operations Project Manager at F5 will play a crucial role within the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer, focusing on driving clarity, visibility, and alignment on high-priority projects and processes for the Worldwide Marketing organization. This position involves managing critical projects related to strategy planning, communications, team enablement, and AI adoption, while maintaining a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and efficient processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for collaboration, ensuring successful execution of strategic plans and fostering alignment across various teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive clarity, visibility, and alignment on high-priority projects and processes for the Worldwide Marketing organization.
• Own and manage critical projects across strategy planning, communications, team enablement, and AI adoption.
• Facilitate the development of Marketing's annual strategic plan and ensure alignment with business and budget planning.
• Support the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer in executing strategic and operational accountabilities.
• Design and lead effective senior leadership-level meetings to communicate project status and coordinate efforts.
• Create visibility and alignment across Marketing leadership and ensure accountability on strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to solve problems and develop new processes.
• Design, build, and maintain project plans including scope, objectives, schedule, budget, and risk management.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years' experience managing projects at technology-based companies with strong cross-functional experience.
• Minimum 3 years working with functional budgets, P&Ls, and investment requests.
• Proven experience managing and tracking multiple projects in a highly engaged employee environment.
• Experience creating and delivering professional presentations to a variety of audiences, including senior executives.
• BA or Bachelor of Science degree required; MBA is a plus.
• Knowledge or certification in F5 products/solutions is a plus; Lean/Six Sigma green belt and/or project management certification is helpful.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in cybersecurity or application delivery industries.
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in business operations.
