Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Operations Specialist, SME at Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, Alabama. This position supports the Strategic Integrated Kinetic Effects (STRIKE) Project Office (PO), which is tasked with fielding the Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) and Mid-Range Capability (MRC) Army weapon systems. The role is contingent upon contract award, indicating that the position may be subject to the successful acquisition of a government contract. The Business Operations Specialist will provide essential business expertise to the STRIKE team, particularly in support of the Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) and the Integrated Program Management Report (IMPR). This includes measuring contractors' cost and schedule performance on Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition contracts. The specialist will work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) structure to analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Earned Value Management data, ensuring that program schedules align with STRIKE's functional and product directory efforts. Additionally, the role involves developing and maintaining Program Integrated Master Schedules for all products and functions. The specialist will also provide technical expertise in various areas, including Cost Analysis, Milestone Documentation, Contractor Reporting, and Program Reporting functions. Responsibilities include compiling and analyzing audit packages, following up on Corrective Action Plans (CAP) in accordance with DoD regulations and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) guidance, and preparing the Army's tri-annual Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP), which encompasses report preparation, submission, and follow-up sampling. Moreover, the position requires maintaining, reviewing, and coordinating for approval Customer Support Agreements, as well as providing programmatic expertise for planning, evaluation, integration, and coordination of workforce structure and manpower management. The specialist will also assist in facilities management, which includes conducting safety checks, addressing maintenance needs, coordinating and executing moves, and handling other facilities-related tasks.
