About the position

The Business Operations / Store Coordinator role is a full-time contract position based in Boston, MA, focused on supporting retail operations through event setup and materials handling. The position involves physical labor, including setting up areas for events, moving supplies, and conducting general audits of the facility. The coordinator will work closely with the facilities team and vendors to ensure smooth operations and a well-maintained environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up areas for events based on provided layouts.
  • Move shipping boxes from shipping and receiving areas.
  • Conduct walk-throughs of the facility to check for maintenance issues.
  • Shred materials using a shoe shredder.
  • Assist in cleaning and preparing rooms as needed.
  • Review and manage supplies in the supply closet.
  • Escort vendors into the building and assist them as necessary.
  • Perform general audits of the facility, checking for broken items or leaks.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some general computer proficiency.
