The Business Operations Systems Analyst is a pivotal role within the Global Procurement team, responsible for engaging with stakeholders across the globe to execute and optimize systems, processes, and information. This position is critical in driving efficiencies and providing insights into business performance, which supports data-driven decisions and identifies opportunities for sustained improvement. The ideal candidate will align business strategy with system, process, and information requirements, offering recommendations to enhance customer service, reduce costs and risks, and improve compliance, policy adherence, process design, and service levels. In this role, the analyst will support business activities across various modules of Ariba, including Sourcing, Contracting, and Buying and Invoicing. Understanding the interdependencies across these modules is essential to assess changes and their business impacts effectively. The analyst will also provide support for end-user reporting needs in Fieldglass and Ariba, including managing P2P Dashboard content and data requests across the Ariba modules. Additionally, the analyst will act as a backup for Commodity Code and Material Code change management processes, coordinating with Finance, Tax, IT, and business stakeholders while maintaining master files used in Ariba application configuration. The analyst will participate as a team member on Fieldglass Contingent Worker projects, which includes testing systems, managing cutover planning and execution, developing a Global Playbook for Contingent Worker deployments, and documenting issues during the Hypercare Period. Aligning with production support team members to understand the downstream and upstream impacts of changes is crucial to ensure process continuity. Furthermore, the analyst will serve as a backup for Ariba Guided Buying administration, ensuring that all processes are streamlined and efficient.
