About the position

The Business Ops Analyst role in the Pre-Owned Business & Trade-in team at Amazon involves deep data analysis to support core business operations. The position focuses on driving growth and innovation in customer operations, utilizing advanced technologies such as GenAI and robotic process automation. The analyst will act as a trusted expert, solving operational challenges, improving reporting tools, and collaborating with various internal teams to enhance business effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted operations expert to different functions within Pre-Owned, solving problems and advising on operational activities.
  • Drive incubation and growth for innovative customer operations needs in pre-owned.
  • Focus on prioritization, project management, and act as a subject matter expert in operations excellence.
  • Improve reporting tools, methods, and processes to increase actionable data availability.
  • Support the administration and execution of team targets, including business goal segmentation and measurement of goal attainment.
  • Facilitate Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews and other reporting activities.
  • Work directly with data models and technical tools to analyze data sets.
  • Advocate for customers to internal stakeholders and collaborate with sales, marketing, business intelligence, and other teams.
  • Drive towards simple, scalable solutions for complex problems.
  • Operate strategically and tactically, prioritizing effectively in a fast-changing environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
