About the position

The Business Planning Analyst at Leviton plays a crucial role in managing and improving the Responsive Manufacturing Process (RMP). This position involves engaging with various stakeholders across multiple departments to support the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, ensuring effective product management and inventory tracking. The analyst will facilitate daily operations, identify issues, and recommend strategies for continuous improvement, all while supporting the overall vision of the RMP.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily execution of Rapid Response Manufacturing (RRM), including running daily reviews of all products in the program and facilitating meetings with key personnel.
  • Identify issues with specific SKUs in the RRM process and make recommendations to the Business Planning Manager for resolution.
  • Support the implementation of additional SKUs into the RRM process by collaborating with stakeholders across functions.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within RMP, such as scaling to additional plants and improving lead times.
  • Support and enhance the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and periodic planning cycles.
  • Work with functional and business leaders to address gaps in the planning process.
  • Assist in product/project management activities, including phase in/phase out tasks and updating replacement item information.
  • Track inactive and excess inventory to provide recommendations to product management.
  • Maintain sales reports.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Preferred experience with Smartsheet.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a related field required.
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in cross-functional program or project management roles and/or business planning and supply chain preferred.
