About the position

The Business Analyst position is focused on providing business analysis, administrative, and logistics support to the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Urban Air Mobility (UAM) office. This role involves coordinating various technical projects, managing executive schedules, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the team. The position is hybrid, requiring an average of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, and necessitates obtaining a FAA Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage executive's IOUs regarding contract and task requirements, milestones, resource development, goals, objectives, and schedules.
  • Coordinate meetings, track calendar requests, and oversee day-to-day logistics for the executive team.
  • Lead or co-lead project-level groups and executive coordination as needed.
  • Prepare, write, and edit various correspondence, including spreadsheets, presentations, and charts, in accordance with customer guidelines.
  • Maintain schedules for testing and stakeholder meetings.
  • Coordinate video, telecommunications, and meeting spaces.
  • Adapt to challenges and execute tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Efficiently multi-task and take direction while remaining flexible to evolving support needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Knowledge of FAA practices, particularly in unmanned aircraft, air mobility, and autonomous systems.
  • Advanced skills in developing PLAs, maintaining databases, and using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with solid presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to schedule, plan, and lead meetings and testing site logistics.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management or coordination within federal contracting environments.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and compliance standards.
