About the position

The Production Planning and Control (PP&C) Business Process Analyst will support Site Operations at Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control facility in Orlando. This role involves leading a small team to enhance production planning, process improvement initiatives, and support manufacturing sites. The analyst will work closely with the PP&C Site Operations Senior Manager to address complex operational issues, analyze schedule changes, and drive continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Support PP&C Site Operations Senior Manager for all centers in the business area.
• Lead a small team in continuous improvement projects.
• Assess and analyze schedule changes and resolve complex operational issues.
• Provide guidance and leadership as needed.
• Manage production planning and control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in an ERP environment, particularly in aerospace and defense manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership experience including selection, training, and performance assessment of employees.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ERP software.
• Experience in planning and controlling production schedules and material requirements.
• Knowledge of integrated information systems related to manufacturing and material flow.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a union contract environment.
• Green Belt certification or knowledge of green belt principles.
• Experience with Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
• Master's Degree in a related discipline.
• ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
• Knowledge of best practices for managing material flow in production supply chains.
• Hands-on experience in supply chain transformation and digital transformation strategies.
• SAP experience related to Production Operations.
