About the position

The Business Process Analyst at The Provident Bank of New Jersey is responsible for enhancing operational efficiency and consistency across various departments and regions. This role involves understanding departmental processes, gathering insights, developing journey maps, and creating documentation to support performance, onboarding, and risk management. The analyst will collaborate with teams to identify best practices and suggest improvements to ensure smooth operations and a better customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and understand processes throughout the organization and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies.
  • Develop clear and concise process documentation and job aids to support consistent performance and facilitate effective onboarding of new employees.
  • Identify opportunities to perform tasks correctly, maintaining business continuity and improving the customer experience.
  • Review key processes to eliminate single points of failure and ensure consistency and reliability in handling deviations.
  • Create procedural documentation for current and future system processes to maintain uniformity in service quality and operations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to identify and share best practices to standardize processes across different regions.
  • Document consistent procedures to ensure reliable and predictable customer experience, enhancing customer satisfaction and trust.
  • Monitor and review process documentation and job aids for risk management effectiveness.
  • Propose solutions to mitigate identified risks and ensure process robustness.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a consultant, technical writer, or similar role focused on operational processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different regions and departments to align processes and share best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Familiarity with risk management concepts and practices is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in creating journey maps preferred.
  • Experience in developing job aids and process documentation.
