About the position

The Business Process Analyst at Enbridge Gas Ohio will analyze and recommend changes to internal processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role involves supporting multiple projects, documenting business processes, and providing analytical insights to leadership. The Analyst will utilize various data sources and tools to track performance metrics and ensure data integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and report data from various sources including Power Apps, Power BI, databases, and SharePoint.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics.
  • Present data findings and insights to business leadership in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
  • Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document major business processes associated with the business unit.
  • Conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis of the business unit's processes against both industry and non-industry processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes within the entire business unit without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety.
  • Develop business cases to support recommendations, and monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes.
  • Apply process modeling tools, process improvement methodology, benchmarking, project management, and change management to projects.
  • Compile information requests for all levels of leadership.
  • Monitor compliance activities and measure productivity while making recommendations for improvements.
  • Work with vendors that support operations.
  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR 5+ years of related experience with an Associate's Degree or 7+ years of related experience with a High School diploma/GED.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to present findings to business leadership to support decision-making processes.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Required knowledge in Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and other data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Experience in the utility industry.
