About the position
The Business Process Architect will work remotely to drive complex technical solutions by collaborating with business owners to gather requirements and translate them into actionable business cases. This role involves providing both business and technical leadership, making critical decisions, and evaluating strategic directions for Executive Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive complex technical solutions end-to-end.
- Work closely with business owners to gather customer requirements.
- Translate customer requirements into clear business cases and requirements.
- Provide business and technical leadership and make final decisions/recommendations.
- Solve complex problems and manage all aspects of decisions impacting the business, system, or project.
- Evaluate the strategic direction for Executive Reporting.
- Gather requirements from business users and understand reporting options.
- Plot existing capabilities against required and desired features.
- Determine cost/benefit of options for reporting solutions.
- Align software package selection process with project needs.
- Enumerate current features/functions of the CSR product.
- Identify existing gaps and pain points with stakeholders.
- Evaluate alternatives as part of the Elevate project.
- Conduct side-by-side comparisons of existing and alternative features/capabilities.
- Determine the cost of operating each solution.
- Provide a summary recommendation based on evaluations.
Requirements
- Experience as an IT Architect with business consulting skills.
- Proven ability to drive complex technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience in evaluating strategic directions for reporting.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence language tools for job description enhancement.
- Experience in software package selection processes.
