About the position

The Business Process and Data Improvement Analyst is responsible for managing key business processes that directly impact TireHub's financial performance. This role focuses on enhancing transactional processing and ensuring high-quality data to support accurate financial reporting, particularly in the order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and inventory management cycles. The Analyst collaborates across departments to streamline and improve interactions with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and participates in projects to identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
  • Provides inputs to the design of business processes and assists with implementing and monitoring future state processes.
  • Documents standard operating procedures (SOPs) and assists with the creation of reports and tools for stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with TireHub SOPs, prescribed business processes, company policy, and internal controls.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Accounting and IT Departments and business partners for accurate financial reporting.
  • Facilitates communication among cross-functional stakeholders to gather necessary information for transactions.
  • Monitors and facilitates the correction of transactional errors and troubleshoots system and process issues.
  • Assists the Accounting Department with critical data and reporting for general ledger account reconciliation.
  • Guides business stakeholders on adherence to policy and fosters a collaborative work environment.
  • Engages with other departments to ensure alignment in achieving TireHub's objectives.
  • Participates in ongoing training requirements through various learning modules.
  • Complies with all TireHub policies and procedures.
  • Completes other tasks assigned by supervisors or leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience in business process analysis and improvement.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Excel, Six Sigma).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
