About the position

The Business Process Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager to refine and implement innovation strategies that align with the organization's business objectives. This role involves analyzing and improving business processes, preparing reports, and effectively communicating insights to stakeholders. The engineer will manage projects, prioritize initiatives, and ensure that solutions meet business needs while monitoring project performance.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to refine and implement the innovation strategy.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify improvements or automation opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for process improvements.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Perform requirements analysis and compile detailed reports.
  • Communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Manage competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with data analysis and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Deep understanding of financial services and digital products.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the industry or region of operation.
  • Understanding of customer experience in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Portfolio Management principles and practices.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
