About the position

The Business Process Expert at Adtalem Global Education is responsible for leading the simplification and standardization of business processes across key business units. This role focuses on identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance service quality, reduce costs, and achieve institutional consistency. The expert will collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvement initiatives using best practices and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Leads project teams to define, analyze, document, and publish project data and business processes.
  • Assesses benefits post-project to report success and determine next steps.
  • Conducts stakeholder briefings and progress status reporting.
  • Builds and maintains relationships across the enterprise to understand ongoing initiatives.
  • Conducts business systems process analysis and needs assessments for improvements.
  • Coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and communicates results to project teams.
  • Manages multiple assignments, creates and updates project plans, and monitors progress.
  • Ensures smooth 'go live' transitions for new systems or processes.
  • Examines policies for benefits and removes impediments where possible.
  • Develops knowledge of enterprise applications and business processes.
  • Ensures change management processes are followed for innovation benefits.
  • Archives project documentation and test results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 3 years of data analysis experience with complex reports and strong data interpretation skills.
  • Experience in organizing and leading project teams to achieve results.
  • Experience with IT systems analysis and design.
  • 3 years in modeling and designing business processes and analyzing data.
  • 3 years in change management, project management, and process improvement.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Subject Matter Expert on institutional policies and procedures.
