About the position

The Business Process Manager at STRATTEC is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's information technology strategic projects, particularly focusing on ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems. The role aims to maximize the functionality, sustainability, reliability, and accessibility of these systems across global operations. The incumbent will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage project requests, and provide technical guidance to a geographically dispersed team, ensuring effective use of business information systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage STRATTEC's information technology strategic projects, including ERP and EDI systems.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement projects to reduce system error rates and ensure quality and reliability of business information systems.
• Perform project management for the design, development, testing, and management of ERP and EDI systems.
• Provide technical and functional guidance and training to a geographically dispersed team in the US and Mexico.
• Lead the identification and strategic development of effective methods for electronic business information processing.
• Oversee the development of system-generated workflows using IoT software to improve efficiencies.
• Direct the development of support business procedures to enhance current workflows.
• Stay informed about technological advances and recommend changes for maximum results.
• Provide application support to end users of business information systems in the US and Mexico.
• Guide the design and development of user documentation and training for ERP and EDI systems.
• Conduct gap analysis of team members' technical skills and recommend training plans.
• Lead business information system team meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Management, Information Technology, or Business Administration with a concentration in IS, IM, or IT.
• Two years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of EDI, ERP, or e-commerce applications.
• Experience in business needs mapping for application development and database server design using SQL Server.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools and web technologies including HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
