About the position
Savvee Consulting is seeking a Business Process Modeler to analyze, model, and document business processes for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA). This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams to optimize processes that support the VA mission and the Enterprise Architecture program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business process models using Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) 2.0.
- Ensure process models accurately represent As-Is and To-Be states.
- Conduct analyses of business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide recommendations for process enhancements and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather and document high-level and detailed business requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including Process Model Summary Reports (PMSRs), capturing all aspects of business processes.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align processes with enterprise architecture and IT systems.
- Use process models to identify pain points and areas for re-engineering.
- Understand organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables.
Requirements
- Experience with business process modeling and analysis.
- Proficiency in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) 2.0.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Excellent documentation skills for creating comprehensive reports.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Strategic Investment Management (SIM) processes.
