About the position

The Business Process Project Manager at Pantheon Data is a managerial role focused on leading transformative projects within the Financial Management Service Line. This position involves enhancing military pay systems, applying technical expertise in federal financial management, and driving impactful business process improvements through collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong leadership and analytical skills to evaluate project requirements and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with developers, data teams, and clients to design and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges in military pay systems.
  • Guide clients in evaluating project requirements, risks, and objectives, ensuring compliance with FISCAM and federal regulations.
  • Oversee and participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to address existing issues and develop optimal future-state business processes.
  • Identify and drive business process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance system functionality.
  • Deliver actionable insights and solutions that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of military pay systems.
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10 years of experience in project management or related roles.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work with and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in business process improvement and root cause analysis.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated experience with military pay or financial management systems.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles, system architecture, and solution design.
  • Familiarity with federal financial management and compliance standards.
  • CPA, CGFM, or PMP certification preferred.
