About the position

The Business Process / UAT Test Analyst will work within the UAT Team to ensure that products are tested and delivered to meet the highest quality standards. This role involves performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), analyzing business requirements, developing test plans, and ensuring timely delivery of system enhancements. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely and requires participation in building policies and procedures for the UAT Team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance.
  • Analyze and decompose business requirements to extract test requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and execute effective test plans and test cases.
  • Test system requirements and enhancements and/or fixes.
  • Analyze data, research, and troubleshoot issues to define root cause and provide results.
  • Log and track defects to closure.
  • Monitor, measure, and communicate test results.
  • Ensure new system requirements/enhancements/changes are tested thoroughly and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Create and prepare UAT documentation, communication, and process workflow.
  • Provide a consistent and repeatable testing process for UAT.
  • Work closely with the Project Team to identify risks early.
  • Improve processes and reduce post-implementation issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • 2+ years of User Acceptance testing experience for enterprise-level applications, including writing test cases from business requirements and executing/validating test results.
  • Experience with RxCLAIM on IBM AS400 and strong understanding of RxCLAIM MODs.
  • 2+ years of experience performing business process and data analysis.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with developing process documentation and process improvement workflow.
  • Ability to articulate business and system functionality requirements as it relates to test cases and results.
  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule during holidays and peak periods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Medicare Part D experience.
  • Previous automation experience.
  • Healthcare insurance or claims experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Access.
  • Strong understanding of Claims Admin workflows and processes.
