About the position

The mission of Business Messaging at Meta is to be the primary way that people and businesses communicate across platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger. With the recent advancements in Generative AI (GenAI), there is a significant opportunity to automate and simplify how businesses utilize messaging, which can lead to reduced costs while simultaneously enhancing customer experience and creating substantial business value. The Business Messaging Organization is scaling its investments in GenAI to help more individuals and businesses derive value from these technologies. We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager who possesses a deep understanding and passion for business messaging ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B and/or GenAI products, along with a solid grasp of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and business models. This role involves developing strategies, key messaging, and global launch plans to effectively bring products to market. You will be responsible for aggregating market insights to inform product development and risk mitigation strategies, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for GenAI to unlock value for both people and businesses. Excellent strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and evangelize for the needs of businesses, actively identifying gaps and opportunities to better serve the audience, shaping product strategies and plans.
  • Lead development of target audiences, positioning, and narratives to support those audiences based on data and insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market plans, including positioning and cross-channel activation, and quarterback launches to support revenue and product adoption goals.
  • Effectively communicate within the organization and with cross-functional teams.
  • Execute with agility to evolve with business needs.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in technology, strategy, consulting, or marketing related discipline, with at least 2 years experience working in a product marketing or product management capacity.
  • Track record of managing complex, fast-paced, and data-driven projects.
  • Experience driving resolution in the context of competing perspectives.
  • Experience synthesizing analysis and communicating concepts.
  • Experience working with a variety of internal teams and stakeholders to understand and solve problems.
  • Experience in B2B go-to-market.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fluid environment, with the ability to adapt, spot issues early, and escalate.
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning technologies.
