About the position

The Compliance Business Relationship Manager (CBRM) - Bulk Operations at Delicato Family Wines is responsible for establishing strategic relationships within the bulk production business units, focusing on regulatory compliance and efficiency. This role involves managing the Federal Compliance Bulk Wine Analyst team, ensuring adherence to federal and California state regulations, and developing training programs to enhance staff capabilities. The CBRM plays a critical role in overseeing operations, monitoring performance, and fostering a constructive company culture.

Responsibilities

• Establish trusted relationships among bulk production business units focusing on regulatory requirements.
• Manage day-to-day operations and team performance to ensure smooth workflows.
• Develop and align individual goals with departmental operational goals.
• Research best practices and maintain awareness of regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
• Assist in preparing the departmental budget and monitor spending for cost-effective operations.
• Communicate with direct reports to achieve mutual understanding and desired results.
• Provide a safe and rewarding work environment for employees.
• Manage and direct the Federal Compliance Bulk Wine Analyst team operations and staffing.
• Develop and implement performance measurement tools for staff.
• Assist in TTB regulatory reporting requirements for Bulk Wine and related operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 to 7 years' inventory experience within a regulated industry.
• 1 to 2 years supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficient in desktop applications; MS Office & SAP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
