About the position

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently seeking a motivated Business Relationship Manager to join our Biosciences Division (BID) organization. As a key member of the BID IT team, you will have a crucial role in designing and implementing strategic technological initiatives for our Digital GTM (Go-to-market) priorities. In this role, you will serve as a thought partner to the divisional leadership team, translating their visions into defined objectives and executable plans. You will collaborate on projects that feed the ongoing evolution of the division across different teams and regions. Acting as a liaison between the BID Marketing Leadership Team and project work stream leaders, you will ensure that business needs are met and delivered on schedule. Your collaboration with key individuals and teams in Corporate eBusiness, IT, and Digital Marketing functions will provide the vital support and focus for BID initiatives. You will identify important challenges and potential risks, propose viable solutions backed by thorough analysis, and create plans to enhance revenue and reduce costs through collaborative programs. Maintaining a dashboard with project status, you will report on risks, dependencies, and timelines while supporting monthly and quarterly performance reporting for BID digital marketing. Working on sophisticated problems, you will evaluate various factors impacting project outcomes, build consensus, drive alignment, and navigate political, cultural, and functional divides as a trusted ally to leadership. Your ability to collaborate with individuals across various levels in a sophisticated organizational structure will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Equivalent experience in a related field is acceptable, with preference given to candidates with an MS/MBA.
  • 4 years in an IT business liaison role.
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully lead organizational-level projects in a lead role.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and ecommerce technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in various Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and other relevant software.
  • Experience with Web, CRM, Martech, and Ecommerce platforms.
