As a Business Relationship Manager Senior Acquisition banker in Business Banking, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of large, profitable business clients with annual revenues exceeding approximately $3 million. This role is centered around business development, where you will focus on acquiring new clients, deepening product utilization, and gaining referrals to enhance the primary bank share. Your primary objective will be to provide a high-touch experience by building strong relationships and offering tailored financial advice, all while maintaining a keen focus on client experience and risk management. In this position, you will manage a portfolio of around 40 business clients and 60 prospects who are in a growth or expansion stage. You will provide business deposit and cash management solutions, as well as manage business credit opportunities of up to $15 million. Additionally, you will support branch-based business bankers on significant business credit deals as necessary. Your role will require you to deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by offering comprehensive and customized banking solutions that align with their financial needs and circumstances. You will be expected to grow your portfolio by actively prospecting for new clients whose businesses are expanding. This will involve utilizing extensive referral networks and centers of influence to independently identify and pursue potential new business clients, with the goal of cultivating long-term primary banking relationships. Developing a strong referral network internally in partnership with Private Bank, Asset Wealth Management, Middle Market, and One Chase will be crucial in identifying new opportunities for collaboration. Your responsibilities will also include leveraging your knowledge of various business types, industries, markets, and financial concepts, as well as employing creative marketing techniques to develop your business network and prospects. Building relationships with clients, prospects, and centers of influence through in-person and virtual calls will be essential to understanding their needs and developing comprehensive financial relationships. You will also need to understand the personal financial goals of business owners and partner with various teams to deliver appropriate personal financial solutions. Ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for clients and adhering to sound risk management protocols will be key components of your role.
