About the position

The Business Relationship Manager Senior Acquisition - Vice President role focuses on developing and managing a portfolio of large, profitable business clients with annual revenues exceeding $3 million. This position emphasizes business development, client relationship management, and providing tailored financial advice to enhance client experience and risk management. The role requires a proactive approach to acquiring new clients while deepening existing relationships through comprehensive banking solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire, retain, and deepen a portfolio of approximately 40 business clients and 60 prospects with annual revenue greater than ~$3 million.
  • Provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to $15 million.
  • Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing customized banking solutions.
  • Grow the portfolio by prospecting for new clients in expansion mode and utilizing referral networks.
  • Develop strong internal referral networks to identify new opportunities across various banking sectors.
  • Leverage knowledge of diverse businesses and industries to develop a business network and prospects.
  • Build relationships with clients and centers of influence through in-person and virtual calls.
  • Understand the personal financial goals of business owners and deliver appropriate personal financial solutions.
  • Partner with product specialists to ensure seamless onboarding of clients with a full suite of products and services.
  • Follow sound risk management protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
  • Strong current business network and active involvement in community organizations.
  • Demonstrates strong tactical business development and negotiation skills.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and creative with sound judgment.
  • Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to influence others and leverage technology for client interactions.
  • Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and business credit underwriting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' managing clients with revenues over $10 million.
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse types of businesses and financial concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
