About the position

The Business Relationship Specialist at CapSpecialty plays a crucial role in supporting the Business Development Manager by monitoring key performance metrics of distribution partners and providing feedback to ensure awareness of current results. This hybrid position emphasizes collaboration, communication, and data analysis to enhance business operations and relationships with external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring key performance metrics of distribution partners.
  • Assisting with putting together production reports and data maintenance for Specialty Casualty teams.
  • Creating user logins for the DragonX team according to distribution rules and broker assignments.
  • Maintaining the DragonX MailChimp website for marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting the Specialty Casualty teams with gathering information for 'Meet the Team' and quarterly success stories.
  • Helping external partners and internal teams with questions about product contacts and existing appointments.
  • Supporting the Business Development Manager with operational issues involving underwriters and brokers.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ years insurance industry experience, including experience with internal and broker-facing communication preferred.
  • Ability to think clearly and quickly, work independently, and analyze data.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good multitasking and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Technically competent in standard business software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
