About the position
The Business Reporting Specialist plays a crucial role in gathering and validating operational data, including performance reports and maintenance metrics. This position requires strong writing and communication skills, the ability to manage large datasets, and proficiency in computer applications. The specialist will be responsible for data entry, report creation, and ensuring the accuracy of information used for inventory and performance reporting.
Responsibilities
- Enter large quantities of information in databases and spreadsheets, and validate accuracy of data entry
- Create and publish maintenance and production performance reports, and communicate findings with staff
- Organize and archive a variety of reports and documents for historical records
- Reconcile daily, monthly and yearly production numbers for inventory reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Ability to operate company vehicle and equipment as needed
- Proficient mathematics skills
- Ability to learn mining operation and equipment
