About the position

The Business Research Analyst role at RedRover Sales & Marketing Strategy is designed for individuals who excel in data analysis and market research. This position involves gathering and interpreting complex quantitative data to inform sales and marketing strategies for clients. The analyst will work autonomously, utilizing various research methods to uncover consumer trends and preferences, and will be responsible for presenting findings in a clear and actionable format.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute questionnaires, focus groups, market analysis surveys, and public opinion polls.
• Interpret data and apply critical thinking to make data-driven recommendations.
• Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions using various methods.
• Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends.
• Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of strong market research experience including surveys, stakeholder interviews, and focus groups.
• Proficient in executing market research and statistical analysis using industry best practices.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including the use of pivot tables and statistical/logical formulas.
• Proven ability to relate facts and findings to a broader strategy.
• Excellent follow-through and organization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Experience using survey platforms such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, SightX, etc.
• Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related to multi-variate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness.
• Bachelor's degree in market research or related field.
