The Business Risk Professional 3 - Swap Data Reporting Analyst at U.S. Bank plays a crucial role in the organization's risk management structure, which is designed to promote effective governance and risk management that is systematic, transparent, credible, timely, and verifiable. This position is integral to assessing and managing various risks that may impact the company, including credit, financial, liquidity, market, operational, reputational, strategic, and other relevant risks. The analyst will report directly to the Derivatives and FX Compliance Support Manager and will collaborate with other Business Risk Professionals to execute processes that support an effective risk management framework. Key responsibilities include performing validation and reconciliation of reportable swaps traded by the Bank, as defined by CFTC regulation and industry practice. The analyst will also communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to research and resolve exceptions, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Additionally, the role involves interacting directly with management, including the escalation of issues as appropriate, and participating in special projects and activities that enhance compliance. The analyst will also assist in training lower-level and/or new staff, contributing to the overall development of the team. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and governance.
