About the position

As a Floating Sr. Account Manager at Verizon, you will leverage your sales experience and customer relations skills to deliver innovative business solutions that enhance connectivity for clients. This role involves managing a dynamic sales territory, identifying new business opportunities, and growing existing accounts while utilizing advanced sales methodologies and tools. You will be responsible for consulting with customers to address their business challenges and recommending tailored solutions that drive revenue growth for both the clients and Verizon.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and qualify leads within the assigned territory to drive additional sales opportunities.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate customers about innovative business solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Present and create multi-product solution opportunities effectively.
  • Demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions.
  • Track and report progress using various sales force automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within the assigned geographic sales territory.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Technology sales experience, including SaaS sales experience, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools.
  • Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
