About the position

The Business Sales Account Executive role at Verizon involves delivering innovative business solutions to clients, enhancing their connectivity and operational efficiency. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, focusing on both acquiring new business and nurturing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will leverage their sales experience and customer relations skills to identify client challenges and recommend tailored solutions, ultimately driving revenue growth for both the client and Verizon.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and qualify leads within the assigned territory to drive additional sales opportunities.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate customers about innovative business solutions.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Present and create multi-product solution opportunities effectively.
  • Demonstrate a knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions.
  • Track and report progress using various sales force automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within the assigned geographic sales territory.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • A degree - Associates or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Technology sales and educational experience, such as SaaS sales experience, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools.
  • Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to accomplish goals.
  • Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success.
