About the position

The Business Sales Account Manager at Verizon is responsible for delivering innovative business solutions to clients, enhancing their connectivity and technology use. This role involves managing a dynamic sales territory, focusing on both acquiring new business and nurturing existing accounts. The position requires strong sales skills, customer relationship management, and a deep understanding of technology products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and qualify leads within the assigned territory to drive additional sales opportunities.
  • Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
  • Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
  • Coordinate with support partners to educate customers about innovative business solutions.
  • Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Effectively present and create multi-product solution opportunities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions.
  • Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within the assigned geographic sales territory.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • A degree - Associates or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses.
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
  • Technology sales experience, including SaaS sales experience, CRM, or SalesForce.
  • Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments.
  • Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
