About the position

The Business Sales Account Manager at Verizon is responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships within a designated territory. This role involves prospecting for new business, retaining existing accounts, and delivering innovative business solutions that enhance customer connectivity and drive revenue growth. The position requires a strong understanding of technology and the ability to consult with clients to address their business challenges effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and qualify leads within the assigned territory to drive additional sales opportunities.
• Gain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
• Retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.
• Coordinate with support partners to educate customers about innovative business solutions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
• Present and create multi-product solution opportunities effectively.
• Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions.
• Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in B2B sales and technology sales, including SaaS.

Nice-to-haves

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree or certifications/college courses.
• Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
• Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
• Experience in building and maintaining business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
