About the position

The Business Services CORE Sub-Domain Focal at RTX Corporation is responsible for leading the configuration and implementation of the CORE operating system within the Enterprise Services organization. This role focuses on utilizing CORE tools to prioritize improvement opportunities, assign resources, and solve significant business problems, ensuring effective delivery of results across the assigned portfolio of services. The position requires collaboration with various sub-domains to enhance CORE adoption and operational performance, while also facilitating workshops and tracking strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of the CORE operating system for select services within Business Services.
  • Drive corresponding cadences aligned with the CORE Goal Alignment process.
  • Facilitate workshops, execution & progress reviews, retrospectives, and other forums for the assigned sub-domain(s).
  • Assist with tracking improvement targets, strategic initiative reviews, quarterly business reviews, and staff meetings.
  • Provide guidance and clarity to sub-domain leadership to drive process maturity and operational performance.
  • Collaborate across sub-domains to accelerate CORE adoption and deliver results.
  • Assist with building a CORE talent pipeline to meet CORE training and certification requirements.
  • Become CORE Expert certified, if not already.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience.
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
  • Successfully obtained CORE professional certification or equivalent Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • 2+ years of experience influencing senior level stakeholders and working across the organization with proven communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six Sigma Black Belt or CORE Expert certification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as a CORE embedded lead (or legacy organization equivalent).
  • Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
